Website Accessibility
Our commitment to accessibility
Mount Vernon School District is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we work to keep the site compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard navigation.
An ongoing effort
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review new and existing content, test with assistive technology, and train the staff who publish to our site. Some older documents and third-party tools embedded in our pages may not yet fully meet these standards, and we are working to improve or replace them.
Need a document in another format?
If you need a page or document provided in an accessible format — for example large print, a tagged PDF, or plain text — let us know and we will provide it.
Report an accessibility barrier
If you come across a page or document that is difficult to use with assistive technology, please tell us. Include the web address (URL) and a short description so we can find and fix it.
